Welcome to TIAS.com ("TIAS," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and marketplace platform. By creating an account or using TIAS, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
TIAS is operated by Treasure Listings LLC. If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use TIAS. By using our services, you represent that you meet these requirements.
To access certain features of TIAS — including saving items, viewing order history, messaging sellers, and selling items — you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. Guest checkout is available for purchases without an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
TIAS is an online marketplace that connects buyers with independent sellers of antiques, collectibles, and vintage items. We provide the platform, tools, and payment facilitation; individual sellers are responsible for their listings, inventory, pricing, and fulfillment.
TIAS acts as the payment facilitator for transactions on our platform. All payments from buyers are processed by TIAS and held on behalf of sellers until the transaction is complete (see Section 4: Seller Terms for details on the Wallet and payout process). TIAS handles disputes, refunds, and buyer protection on behalf of both parties.
While TIAS facilitates payments and provides buyer protection, we do not own, possess, or inspect the items listed on our platform. Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and the quality of the items they sell.
When you purchase an item on TIAS, your payment is processed by TIAS as the payment facilitator. Review item descriptions, photos, and condition details carefully before purchasing. If you have questions, contact the seller before completing your order.
All payments are processed securely through our payment processor, Stripe. By making a purchase, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total order amount, including item price, shipping, applicable taxes, and any applicable buyer protection fee.
TIAS provides buyer protection on all purchases. After your item is delivered, you have a 2-day verification window to inspect the item and confirm it matches the listing description. If there is an issue, you may file a claim through your order page. See Section 5: Returns, Disputes & Refunds for complete details.
Sellers are responsible for shipping items to buyers. Shipping times, methods, and costs vary by seller. TIAS tracks shipments to confirm delivery as part of our buyer protection and seller payout process.
Shipping Cost Protection: If the final shipping cost charged by the seller exceeds the original shipping estimate provided at checkout by more than 20%, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, contact the seller or TIAS support before the item ships.
Fulfillment Timeframe: Sellers are expected to confirm shipping (or complete local pickup) within 10 calendar days of purchase. If shipping or pickup has not been confirmed by day 10, you become eligible to request a refund through your order page. If shipping or pickup still has not been confirmed by day 30, TIAS will issue an automatic refund as a safeguard. See Section 5: Returns, Disputes & Refunds for the full non-fulfillment timeline.
For orders fulfilled by local pickup, TIAS uses a unique pickup code to confirm that the handoff has occurred and to release the seller's funds.
The buyer's local pickup flow is as follows:
Contactless or porch pickup: If you and the seller agree on a contactless handoff (e.g., porch pickup), pick up the item, inspect it, and then send the code digitally — by message through the order page, text, or email — once you are satisfied. Do not share the code in advance.
If you misplace your code: Check your original order confirmation email and your order page first. If you cannot locate it, contact TIAS Support and we will retrieve it from our records after verifying your identity.
Refund eligibility for unconfirmed pickups: Local pickup orders are subject to the same non-fulfillment timeline as shipped orders. If the pickup code has not been entered by day 10, you become eligible to request a refund through your order page; if it still has not been entered by day 30, TIAS will issue an automatic refund as a safeguard. See Section 5 for details.
TIAS provides a structured return and dispute process for all purchases. If you receive an item that is not as described, arrives damaged, or is never shipped, you may file a claim through your order page. See Section 5: Returns, Disputes & Refunds for complete details on filing claims, return procedures, deadlines, and refund calculations.
To sell on TIAS, you must create a seller account and select a subscription plan. During registration, you'll verify your email, phone number, and provide your business or personal address. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining your account in good standing.
Every seller receives a Wallet automatically upon account creation. When a buyer purchases your item, the funds are held in your Pending Balance. After the item is delivered and the buyer's 2-day verification window passes without a claim, the funds move to your Available to Withdraw balance.
To withdraw funds, you must connect a bank account through the Wallet section of your seller dashboard. Connecting a bank account is not required to create listings or accept orders — it is only required when you wish to withdraw your earnings. TIAS may withhold payouts if we suspect fraud, policy violations, or have unresolved disputes.
Sellers pay a monthly subscription fee based on their selected plan, plus a commission on completed sales. Current pricing is available on our Plans & Pricing page. Commission is deducted automatically when funds are released to your wallet. TIAS reserves the right to modify fees with 30 days' notice.
All transactions for items listed on TIAS must be completed through the TIAS platform using our integrated payment system. Sellers may not direct buyers to complete purchases off-platform, request payment through external services, or otherwise circumvent TIAS's transaction processing. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.
All items listed on TIAS must be at least 20 years old. Modern reproductions, replicas, and items less than 20 years old are not permitted. Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, clear photographs, and honest condition assessments. Misrepresenting items may result in account suspension or termination.
Each listing must include at least one clear photograph of the actual item being sold. Stock photos, AI-generated images, or photos of different items are not permitted. Sellers must own or have the right to use all images uploaded to their listings.
Duplicate Listings: Sellers may not create multiple listings for the same item, or post substantially identical listings under different titles or categories. Duplicate listings will be removed, and repeated violations may result in account suspension.
Transparent Pricing: Listing prices must clearly reflect the total cost of the item. Sellers may not impose hidden fees, surcharges, or additional charges not disclosed in the listing. All costs including any handling or packaging fees must be included in the listed price or clearly stated in the item description.
Material & Composition Disclosures: Sellers must accurately describe the materials and composition of items. Jewelry and precious metal items must be honestly represented — for example, gold-plated or gold-filled items must not be described as solid gold, and any hallmarks or stamps must be accurately reported. Misrepresenting materials is considered a serious violation and may result in immediate account termination.
Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders promptly, packaging items securely, and providing tracking information when available. Sellers must respond to buyer inquiries in a timely manner.
Fulfillment Timeframe Requirement: Sellers must confirm shipping (or complete local pickup) within 10 calendar days of purchase. Orders that are not confirmed within this window become subject to the non-fulfillment refund timeline described in Section 5 — buyer eligibility for a refund at day 10 and an automatic refund safeguard at day 30. Repeated failures to fulfill within the 10-day window may result in account suspension or termination.
Shipping Estimate Accuracy: Sellers must honor their shipping estimates within a reasonable threshold. If the final shipping cost exceeds the estimate provided at checkout by more than 20%, the buyer may cancel the order for a full refund. Sellers are encouraged to provide accurate shipping estimates to avoid cancellations and maintain buyer trust.
Delivery Confirmation: Sellers should always add tracking information to orders. TIAS tracks shipments to confirm delivery, which triggers the release of funds from the seller's Pending Balance to their Available to Withdraw balance. Orders without tracking information may experience delayed fund release.
For orders fulfilled by local pickup, TIAS uses a unique pickup code as the canonical proof of completion. The buyer is given the code at checkout. The order's funds remain in your Pending Balance until you enter the code in the app. The pickup code is the equivalent of a delivery scan — it is the record TIAS uses to confirm that pickup occurred and to release your payout. Do not consider an order complete or release fund-tracking until you have the code in hand.
The seller's local pickup flow is as follows:
Contactless or porch pickup: If you and the buyer agree on a contactless handoff, the buyer is expected to send the code digitally — by message through the order page, text, or email — after they have picked up and inspected the item.
If the buyer refuses to provide the code after a completed pickup: Contact TIAS Support with your message history from the order page and any other evidence of the handoff (timestamps, location records, photographs of the buyer with the item). TIAS will review the conversation and supporting evidence and may, at its sole discretion, issue an override release if we determine the pickup was completed in good faith. Without an override or the buyer's code, the order will follow the standard non-fulfillment timeline — buyer refund eligibility at day 10 and an automatic refund safeguard at day 30 (see Section 5).
TIAS's determinations regarding pickup code disputes are final and binding for the purpose of releasing or reversing funds, subject to the seller's right to request a review. Documented communication through the order page is the primary evidence considered when reviewing override requests; off-platform communication (text, phone calls, in-person agreements) carries less weight.
TIAS provides a structured dispute and refund process to protect buyers. Two separate refund paths apply depending on the state of the order: a non-fulfillment path for orders where shipping or local pickup has not been confirmed, and a post-delivery claim path for orders that have been delivered. Each path has its own deadlines and procedures, described below. All buyer protections are subject to the timelines, conditions, and TIAS's review of the order record.
When an order has not been confirmed as shipped (no tracking accepted by the carrier) or has not been confirmed as picked up (for local pickup orders), the following refund timeline applies:
This timeline is the centralized rule TIAS applies when mediating non-fulfillment disputes. Sellers who anticipate a delay should communicate with the buyer through the order page; documented communication and a buyer's written agreement to extend the timeline will be considered if the order is later disputed. TIAS's determinations under this policy are final and binding for the purpose of releasing or reversing funds, subject to the seller's right to request a review.
Buyers may file a claim within 48 hours of delivery for the following issue types:
Claims must be filed within 48 hours of the delivery date confirmed by the shipping carrier. For items that were never shipped, claims may be filed at any time while the order remains unfulfilled.
When a buyer files a claim, the seller has 48 hours to respond by either accepting the return or contesting the claim. If the seller does not respond within 48 hours, the return is automatically approved.
If a seller contests a claim, the dispute is escalated to TIAS support for review. TIAS will review the claim details, listing information, and any evidence provided by both parties before making a final determination.
Once a return is approved (by seller acceptance, automatic approval, or TIAS decision), the buyer must initiate the return by printing a return shipping label from their order page within 14 days. After printing the label, the buyer must ship the item within 14 days.
If the buyer does not print the return label or ship the item within these deadlines, the claim is automatically cancelled and the seller's payout hold is released.
Refunds are processed when the return shipment enters transit (confirmed by the shipping carrier). Buyers do not need to wait for the seller to receive the returned item. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
Refund amounts depend on the type of claim:
Sellers are required to (a) confirm shipping or complete local pickup within 10 calendar days of purchase, and (b) respond to buyer claims within 48 hours. Failure to confirm shipping or pickup within 10 days makes the order eligible for the non-fulfillment refund timeline described above, including the 30-day automatic refund safeguard. For claims where the seller is at fault (item not as described or arrived damaged), the cost of return shipping will be charged to the seller's subscription billing account. Seller payouts are placed on hold when a claim is filed and are released or adjusted based on the claim resolution.
Sellers who accumulate excessive claims may be subject to account review, suspension, or termination at TIAS's discretion.
To protect the integrity of the marketplace, TIAS reserves the right to issue refunds to buyers from seller proceeds without the seller's prior approval in cases involving confirmed misrepresentation, fraud, failure to ship, or other serious policy violations. Sellers will be notified when such action is taken and may request a review of the decision.
When a buyer files a claim, the seller's payout for that order is placed on hold pending resolution. If the claim is cancelled by the buyer or denied by TIAS, the hold is released and the payout resumes normal processing. If a refund is issued, the payout is adjusted accordingly. If the payout has already been transferred to the seller, the return shipping and/or refund amount may be charged to the seller's subscription billing account.
